Stephen Curry has been mired in a slump that's probably the longest of his career. It was more of the same for the Golden State Warriors point guard on Saturday night in a marquee matchup against the Brooklyn Nets.

Curry finished with 19 points, connecting on five field goals out of 18 attempts from the field while going 3-for-10 from the three-point arc.

Nearly every game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr gets asked about Stephen Curry and his shooting struggles. After once again getting hit with a variation on a Steph Curry inquiry during the postgame presser, Kerr retorted with an answer he can probably start playing as a recording for the next time he gets asked.

Via Anthony Slater:

“I know this is a question I'm going to keep getting if he's not shooting the ball well but I'm not worried about him. I'm just not,” said the Warriors coach.

“He's Steph Curry. One of the great players of all time. He's one of the great players in the game today. He had a tough night tonight, but the guy helps us win routinely and does so much beyond just making shots. So, it'll come around for him.”

Yes, the sample size for Stephen Curry's slump this season continues to get longer. But there's a much larger sample of him being one of the most unstoppable scorers in the history of the game.

It's taking longer than expected, but it's still just a matter of time before the Warriors icon turns it on again. And when he does, Steve Kerr will be the first to say ‘I told you so'.
