The Golden State Warriors lost to the Los Angeles Clippers Monday night in overtime, 121-116, and tempers flared between Draymond Green and Kevin Durant after Green failed to pass to Durant at the end of regulation and didn't get a shot off.

Tuesday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc Spears reported that the heated exchange between the two stars spilled over into the locker room after the game, with other Warriors teammates speaking up and calling out Green's decision-making on that final play of regulation.

The Athletic's Anthony Slater has more on what drove the tension, with Green at the center of it:

Even with the loss and the frustrations, the Warriors are still the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference at 11-3. Luckily for the Warriors, if there is still any anger and frustration from Monday night, they can take it all out on the Atlanta Hawks, as they play them Tuesday night.

It could be an ugly game for the lowly Hawks, but if the Warriors somehow lose, then the tension and frustrations will continue to be a major story, especially with Durant's upcoming free agency. It will be interesting to see how the Warriors come out of the gates after this incident, and how Durant and Green interact with each other will be something to watch.

Green has been known for getting into confrontations with teammates before, and it probably won't be the last time we hear of this during the season.
