In their game against the Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins threw a pass to a wide-open Stephen Curry — who was on the bench.

It was a real Shaqtin' a Fool moment for the former All-Star big man. Not long after throwing the pass, Cousins realized that a turnover was about to be added to his tally. Curry decided to ride along by heaving up a shot.

Despite this reckless turnover, the Warriors survived the Rockets, 106-104.

The game was close all the way. The Warriors were able to break away in the fourth quarter, but the Rockets characteristically climbed back. Fortunately for the DUbs, they escaped a potential heartbreaker thanks to great defense in the clutch.

Klay Thompson led the team with 30 points, including five 3-pointers. Not far behind was DeMarcus Cousins who finished with a near triple-double of 27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Stephen Curry had 24 points and five assists.

The Warriors will move on to the second match of their four-game tour on Saturday as they face the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Houston, meanwhile, suffered their first loss in 10 games. Reigning MVP James Harden dropped 29 points and 10 assists. It was a rather off night for him as he shot just 2-of-12 from downtown. Chris Paul chipped in 24 points and was 8-of-8 from the free throw line, while big man Clint Capela logged in a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds.

The Rockets will host the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.
