New Golden State Warriors recruit Kelly Oubre Jr. isn't just winning on the basketball court. As it turns out, the 24-year-old is also triumphant in the game of love.
Oubre recently took to Instagram to announce his engagement to girlfriend-turned-fiancé, Shylyn:

Oubre and Shylyn had only been dating a few months prior to taking this huge step in their relationship. For what it's worth, Shylyn was previously dating Houston Rockets superstar James Harden prior to finding love with Oubre. A wedding date has yet to be announced.
It's been a whirlwind affair over the past few weeks for Oubre, who has seen himself traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of the Chris Paul deal. Oubre never got a chance to meet his new teammates in OKC, with the Thunder quickly sending him over to the Warriors in exchange for a number of future draft picks.
Oubre joins a Warriors side that will be looking to contend for the title this coming season. The Dubs brought in the 6-foot-7 swingman as a pseudo-replacement for Klay Thompson, who will be spending yet another season on the sidelines due to an ACL injury. Oubre may not be in the same caliber as Thompson, but he should be able to provide Golden State with a much-needed offensive boost in what should be a tough year ahead for the championship-seeking Warriors.
