Washington Wizards star shooting guard Bradley Beal pulled off a fiery dunk through the lane on Tuesday night in a matchup on the road against the Charlotte Hornets.

The 26-year-old rose up strong over second-year forward Miles Bridges for the flush.

Beal is leading the Wizards in the absence of former first-overall pick John Wall. He is averaging a career-best 28.0 points and 7.0 assists per game this season with the upstart D.C. franchise.

At only 7-15 entering Tuesday's tilt with the 9-16 Hornets, it's not exactly a much-watch game compared to other offerings. However, like any given night in the NBA, Beal's thunderous dunk exemplifies the sights even a mundane matchup could bring.

Meanwhile, two-time All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas should be back in another week, giving Beal a reinforcement in the backcourt.
