WWE 2K22 Patch 1.07 Patch Notes are here – which includes the promise of fixing custom render image issues and bugs experienced by players!

WWE 2K22 version 1.07 Patch Notes

According to WWE 2K22’s official website, Patch 1.07 introduces these changes to the game:

KEY ISSUE HOT FIX

Hey, WWE 2K players, we have a hotfix for you that improves the stability of Create a Superstar when using a large number of original creations with custom portraits.

GENERAL

  • Addresses reported concerns of instability resulting from players applying 35 or more custom image renders to original superstars in Create a Superstar.
  • Improves a reported concern that online instability may occur when one or more users has empty custom portraits.
  • Addresses a reported concern of an issue that may occur when a player accepts an online game invite while WWE 2K22 is in a suspended state.

After the saddening Patch 1.06 that took away the cheese strategy for Faction Wars, Visual Concepts tries to appease fans by fixing something else somewhere in the game. With Patch 1.06, WWE 2K22 fans are promised fixes for custom render image issues. This helps for everyone who plays WWE 2K like a fantasy mode and uses Universe Mode as a sort of amalgamation of different WWE eras as well as bringing in wrestlers from other promotions into the game. Prior to the patch, there have been complaints of heavy stability issues when players use a lot of CAW and custom images. This patch is expected to fix these issues.

Compared to the massive Patch 1.06, this patch is much smaller and introduces very little new content. Instead, it's meant to fix anything that Patch 1.06 missed or exacerbated, which is quite frankly better than not having anything at all. Still, we wish all of these fixes were applied prior to the launch of the game so fans could just enjoy it without worrying about stability and fixes.
