Friday night SmackDown was a classic good news, bad news situation for Bobby Lashley, as while he was able to pull a rabbit out of a hat and best 19 other WWE Superstars to become the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, he was also ruled out of WrestleMania 39, as not only did Wade Barrett officially announce that he wasn't booked for “The Showcase of the Immortals,” but when Michael Cole ran through the card, the voice of WWE confirmed “The All Might” again was left off of the card too.

Heading into SmackDown, Bobby Lashley was asked by Denise Salcedo what his plans were for WrestleMania 39, as his opponent, Bray Wyatt, was reportedly off of the card due to injury. Despite being a multi-time WWE Champion, at the time, even Lashley wasn't sure what was going on.

“I have no idea. All I know is that I think I provoke fear in a lot of people,” Lashley said via Fightful. “You can go out there with me, we can have a great match, but at the end of the day, The All Mighty always comes through. I'm looking for him, I'm looking for whoever wants to step up. Right now, a lot of people in the business are looking like, ‘this is going to be a fun match for me.' If you want a real challenge, I'm the real challenge for anybody on the roster.”

Unfortunately, Lashley now has his answer, and while he could theoretically still end up on the card – there are only six matches on Sunday versus seven on Sunday, after all – depending on how things shake out, for now, Lashley is officially out.
