WWE superstar Chelsea Green is having an interesting week leading into WrestleMania 40. First, she wrestled in front of a historic Brooklyn, New York crowd on Monday. Then on Tuesday, on the eve of her 33rd birthday, she was kicked out of The Plaza Hotel in New York City amid accusations that she was an escort due to her outfit.

“Man… one night you’re wrestling at Barclays Center, having the time of your life and the next you’re being kicked out of @FairmontHotels and accused of being an escort because of your outfit,” Green tweeted on Wednesday night. “Life is funny! Maybe next year I won’t celebrate Wrestlemania weekend at The Plaza Hotel LOL…”

This incident led to many hilarious responses from Green and others, with many comparing the incident to the classic 1980s Julia Roberts movie Pretty Woman.

Green did not wrestle on the televised portion of Monday Night Raw at the Barclays Center, but according to her tweet, she did hit the ring at some point in front of a sold-out arena, the 13th in a row — for televised events — for WWE. At the beginning of the show, The Rock also announced that it was the “largest gate” in Raw history.

This comes amid the WWE universe getting ready for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7.

Just a few days ahead of the event, the birthday girl Chelsea Green is not scheduled to appear at the historic event, but with WrestleMania, you never know.
