Whether you love him, hate him, or fall somewhere in between, John Cena is undoubtedly the biggest star WWE has produced in the last 15 years, with his rise from “Ruthless Aggression” to “You Can't See Me” to an international movie star a thing of wrestling beauty.

And yet, no matter how much money his films make, no matter how many commercials he lends his voice and/or appearance to, and no matter how much better he gets at Instagram – if that's even possible – Cena's true home will always be in Vince McMahon's ring, either producing meaningful moments for his adoring fans or throwing down with foes of all shapes and sizes.

So, after being absent from the ring since his loss to Roman Reigns at 2021's Summer Slam – minus a Dark match with The Mysterios versus  The Bloodline – having some time on his hands between seasons of Peacemaker, Cena has opted to return to WWE television, RAW to be specific, to celebrate his length list of accomplishments in the promotion.

Now granted, Cena isn't technically booked to wrestle at the event. He will likely walk out to the ring in street closes – which is sort of his ring attire, too – and spout some pleasantries about his “Hustle Loyalty Respect” mantra, but it's only a matter of time before Theory runs down to the ring and gets the man he's been pining after for some time now to either face him in a match or share some of his knowledge a la his mentorship under Mr. McMahon. If you live in Laredo, you need to get down to RAW.
