Kevin Owens has truly been an MVP of WWE.
The superstar can put on a great match, is a fantastic promo, and can turn even the most ridiculous ideas into pure gold. Let’s face it: the Elias/Ezekiel/Elrod angle is absolutely ridiculous on the surface, but it has been one of the most entertaining recurring segments on the RAW brand, and Owens has played a huge role in that.
So, when Owens decided to claim ownership of that cryptic spooky video that aired during Money in the Bank, it was clearly a joke, but who knows? Maybe KO would have been able to pull this type of gimmick off.
Hey @WWE, I liked that video package you guys aired about me.
My dad also liked it.
Thanks!

Owens was most recently pulled from a Money in the Bank qualifying match against Elias/Ezekiel/Elrod, a situation that, while believed to be due to a minor injury, Owens also responded to with a joke tweet that referenced his fantastic WrestleMania angle with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Maybe Owens finally broke due to the Ezekiel situation, has become a cult leader who likes to reference early 2000’s superstars, and will exact revenge on the Samson brothers on the next edition of RAW?
Again, this is absolutely a joke, but at least Kevin’s dad is into the idea.
For a video with the tone and editing of something that would play on television monitor before entering a haunted house attraction, with hints that had people guessing everyone from The Fiend to Gable Steveson to Edge – who by the way, is most certainly who the video was meant to tease – it was certainly a fun Tweet, and it was nice to see Owens having some fun while watching MitB right before Liv Morgan cashed her briefcase to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship, a move he was clearly a fan of if you look at his profile.
