When Liv Morgan took to the ring to celebrate winning the SmackDown Women's Championship on RAW, it was met with near-universal acclaim by the fans assembled in the Pechanga Arena in San Diego. Her babyface speech was much appreciated by the WWE Universe, as was the first look at her SmackDown Championship on WWE television, but not everyone was excited to see her in the ring.

No, Natalya, the woman who “softened up” Ronda Rousey during their match at Money in the Bank, took offense to Morgan flaunting a championship she felt was rightfully hers. Fortunately, as Morgan pointed out, since the duo are both SmackDown wrestlers, Natalya knows where to find her should she want to go.

Friends, it looks like the first feud of the Liv Morgan championship run has been set.

As the segment went on, Carmella and then Bianca Belair took to the ring, and at the behest of Adam Pearce, the quartet took part in an impromptu tag team match but the ramifications of the cross-brand tag team match were rather inconsequential; of course Belair and Morgan pulled out the W, they are the WWE's top two champions, after all, they should be able to take care of a pair of Money in the Bank losers, after all.

Still, is this the beginning of something bigger for Morgan and Neidhart? Will they wrestle over the next few weeks in similar contests in the lead-up to a SummerSlam showdown? Or is Natalya simply a setup woman for a biggest match against someone like Ronda Rousey? Maybe SmackDown will have the answer.
