Anthony Volpe is one of the top prospects in all of baseball. He doesn't have much experience in the minor leagues, but still earned a spot on the Yankees' Opening Day roster following an impressive spring training performance.

Volpe has immediately been placed in the spotlight as the Yankees' starting shortstop, one of the most pressure-packed roles in all of baseball. Some people have even called him the next Derek Jeter.

He's remained cool, calm, and collected up to this point, even drawing praise from Aaron Judge. On Opening Day, he didn't get a hit but drew a walk and stole a base. And now he's officially in the hit column.

Volpe is just getting started in the big leagues, and it's clear that he has an extremely bright future.
