There has been plenty of speculation that the Cincinnati Bengals could decide to deal A.J. Green in the near future. While speaking to the media on Thursday, Zac Taylor responded to the trade rumors involving Green.

With the Bengals beginning the season with an 0-5 record, there have been murmurs that Cincinnati could have a fire sale ahead of this year's trade deadline. However, according to Taylor, the Bengals aren't interested in moving their All-Pro wide receiver anytime soon.

Green has been out since July with an ankle injury that he suffered in one of the first practices of training camp. Since the 2014 season, Green has missed 21 games due to injury (including the five games he has missed to begin this season). If Green is unable to go on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, it would another game to his tally of games missed in the past six seasons.

On Thursday, the veteran wide receiver returned to practice and naturally, the media began asking him questions about his future. Without any hesitation, Green told reporters that he is ‘prepared for anything‘ as the trade rumors begin to run its course.

Over the past few years, the Bengals wide receiver has grown accustomed to hearing his name brought up when the trade deadline looms.

Even at 31-years-old and injuries hindering him in recent seasons, there are teams who would love to acquire Green. The only setbacks are that Green is in a contract year and Cincinnati isn't open to doing business just yet.

Maybe things could change if the season continues to get worse for the team that is in last place in the AFC North.
