Kanye West seems to have found inspiration in his wife, Bianca Censori, as he filed nine trademark applications for a phrase he shared on Instagram to celebrate her birthday, NME reports. The caption, “I miss you when I wake up before you,” accompanied a photo of Censori. According to reports, Kanye West filed the trademark applications on January 11, envisioning the phrase as a slogan for a diverse range of products and services.

Gregory Nelson, the attorney associated with the trademark applications, confirmed that he filed them on behalf of West's corporation. The applications cover a broad spectrum, including moisturizers, “biological cloning,” and plush toys. The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) website indicated good initial filing requirements, and now awaits further examination.

West's celebratory Instagram posts for Censori's birthday featured risqué photos, with one caption describing her as “the most beautiful super bad fun iconic muse inspirational talented artist masters degree in architecture 140 IQ” and praising her as an “amazing stepmom to our children.”

The goods and services listed in the trademark applications span technology, science, and fashion. West's lawyer, Gregory K. Nelson, clarified that the applications were filed through the same company used for previous trademarks, Ox Paha, Inc.

This move follows West's submission of 26 trademark filings for the term “Yews” last year through Ox Paha Inc., seeking rights across education, music streaming, television, games, clothing, and more. However, this sparked controversy due to West's history of anti-Semitic comments, for which he has since apologized. As the trademark process unfolds, West continues to leverage phrases and concepts associated with his personal and professional life.
