Milwaukee Brewers' star outfielder Christian Yelich pulled off an incredible prank on April Fools Day. Plouffe, who works for Jomboy Media, was on a Jomboy segment with Chris Rose. One of the show's producers chimed in during the show with an announcement that Yelich had been traded to San Diego.

The “trade” included the Brewers' Christian Yelich and Adrian Houser in return for C.J. Abrams, MacKenzie Gore, Eric Hosmer and cash. The trade was even fake reported by MLB insider Jeff Passan. Chris Rose knew what was happening the entire time but played it off well.

The trade was just believable enough to seem real. The Padres have been in the conversation for outfielders such as Bryan Reynolds and Michael Conforto. Acquiring Yelich would be a huge boost for the San Diego batting order.

Plouffe remained skeptical but seemed as if he was beginning to believe that the trade actually did happen towards the end. As Rose read more details of the deal, Plouffe proclaimed, “I'm texting Yelly (Christian Yelich) right now!”

As Trevor Plouffe was texting the former MVP, a video played with Yelich saying, “April fools Plouffe. Not going anywhere.” The video of Yelich was met with dead silence and a shocked look on Trevor Plouffe's face. Rose then also said April Fools as Plouffe tried to recover (hilariously) from the joke.

At the end of the clip, Plouffe stated that he texted Yelich asking if the trade was true and Yelich respond by texting, “Looking like there is a chance.”

Props to Christian Yelich for staying committed throughout the prank and pulling off a truly savage April Fools joke.
