Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa has made some tremendous strides in his recovery from a foot injury. However, it remains to be seen whether or not he will make his 2018 NFL season debut this Sunday versus the Denver Broncos.

Bosa was listed has a limited participant in practice this week. According to NFL Network's Steve Wyche, his status is still up in the air:

Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa appears closer to making his season debut Sunday against visiting Denver, although Bosa and the team won't definitively say if he'll be active.

It should come as no surprise that Los Angeles is in no rush to get Bosa back on the field. They have performed tremendously without him this season as they sit at 7-2 going into Week 11. The defense is currently tied for the 10th-most sacks in the league with 26.

However, there is no denying that Bosa's presence has still been missed. When healthy, he has proven to be one of the best pass-rushers in the league. His return should undoubtedly help take this unit to the next level down the final stretch of the season.

Unfortunately, Bosa has indicated that the injury may be something he has to deal with until the offseason. There is a very good chance that Los Angeles may even have to temper his playing time whenever he is able to make his return. If that is the case, it would make sense for the Chargers to make sure he is as healthy as possible by the time the postseason rolls around.
