The Los Angeles Chargers were in danger of losing against the Denver Broncos in what would have been another disappointing display from the defense. However, Mike Williams pulled off an incredible catch to get them back in the game.

The 25-year-old wide receiver was the obvious target for Philip Rivers during the crucial play. The Broncos defense knew it was coming because it was fourth-and-long. They put as many men on the wideouts as they could to force them to commit a turnover.

Williams' catch is nothing short of absurd. He is the only reason why the Chargers managed to get within field goal range and attempt to force out overtime. Watch below.

It was a solid night for Williams, who managed to get 117 yards from five catches. He is the main reason why the Chargers managed to push the Broncos to the limit. Rivers was also decent in the pocket with his 265 yards and two passing touchdowns.

However, their efforts weren't enough as the Broncos managed to eke out a narrow win via a field goal.
