The Los Angeles Chargers wanted to wait until pre-game workouts to see if Joey Bosa could suit up on Monday night and apparently they were content with how he looked. According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Joey Bosa is officially active versus the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.

Bosa has been battling a triceps injury since earlier in the season and he tacked on a knee ailment in recent weeks as well. The talented edge rusher was limited in practice all week and was designated as questionable for Week 5.

Despite the injuries, the former No. 3 overall pick has remained one of the constants in Los Angeles' defense. Through the first four weeks of the season, he's notched three sacks, eight quarterback hits, and five tackles for loss.

Seeing that Melvin Ingram is already on injured reserve, having Bosa on the field is crucial for the Chargers. Ingram has been out in the team's past two games after sustaining a knee injury versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

When speaking about the best pass-rushing duos in the NFL, Bosa and Ingram are definitely near the top of the list.

Besides Bosa, Mike Williams was also questionable to play for the Chargers on Monday night against the Saints. But after both proved they are healthy enough to play before the game, expect to see both of them on the field. However, it remains to be seen if either of them are limited in any fashion due to the injuries they are dealing with.
