Fox Sports personality Skip Bayless is of the belief that Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers deserves the NFL MVP award.
Rivers and company have been on an absolute tear since starting 1-2 on the season, with the Chargers now riding a four-game winning streak following the thrilling 29-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last Thursday.
Los Angeles is now firmly in the hunt for home-field advantage in the AFC, and that's a good spot to be in with two games left in the regular season.
And with Rivers being the driving force of the team's success, that has Bayless thinking that it should earn the veteran quarterback MVP honors.
Here's what Bayless had to say on Tuesday's edition of Undisputed:

It's hard to ignore Rivers' excellent this season, as he's now thrown for 3,951 yards and 31 touchdowns while posting a 112.4 quarterback rating.
And what's been even more impressive is his ability to keep things running smoothly even with star running back Melvin Gordon out of action in recent weeks due to injury.
While Rivers has had his critics over the years, finding a way to lead the Chargers to a Super Bowl would certainly help quiet any of the doubters.
Los Angeles will try to keep its momentum going on Saturday night when it hosts the Baltimore Ravens.
After that, the Chargers will finish up the regular season with a road trip to Mile High Stadium to take on the Denver Broncos.
If Rivers can continue his masterful play, he'll undoubtedly be right in the middle of the MVP race.
