The Kansas City Chiefs are set to host the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Divisional Round. Unfortunately, there is a chance that they could be a bit shorthanded on both sides of the ball.

Safety Eric Berry, running back Spencer Ware, and wide receiver Sammy Watkins have been nursing injuries this week. According to NFL Network's James Palmer, they are each listed as questionable for this Saturday's matchup with the Colts:

S Eric Berry (heel), RB Spencer Ware (hamstring), WR Sammy Watkins (foot) are all questionable for the Chiefs

This is not the most encouraging update midway through the week. The Chiefs were already set to have their hands full to begin with by taking on a talented Colts' team, however, it could get much more difficult if they are shorthanded. There is no question that each player's absence would be felt by Kansas City this weekend.

The Chiefs have already indicated that Berry will likely be forced to sit out. He has been nursing a heel injury after making his debut down the final stretch of the season. There are reports that Kansas City has already started to work on contingency plans.

Fortunately, the outlook appears to be more promising for the offense. Watkins has managed to log in some practice sessions this week while dealing with a foot injury. Meanwhile, Ware has also been a limited participant in practice due to an injured hamstring. Their activity suggests that even if they do play, they may be on a bit of a snap count come Saturday.
