Colorado football will go to the Rose Bowl to face the UCLA Bruins this weekend after spending the past week on bye. Though the bye has given the Buffaloes extra time to prepare for UCLA, Deion Sanders and Co. are still unsure of which quarterback they'll face.

Bruins quarterback Ethan Garbers played most of the game for UCLA in their 42-7 versus Stanford. Garbers went 20-28 for 240 yards with two touchdowns as many speculated QB Dante Moore had been benched due to poor play after throwing six interceptions in the Bruins' previous three games. This included three interceptions in the Bruins' loss to Oregon State.

Coach Chip Kelly insists Garber got the nod to play because Moore was dealing with an injury. Kelly has declined to announce the starting quarterback for the Colorado game, but will choose whoever is healthy and performs best in practice.

Ahead of the game, Deion Sanders dismissed the challenge of not knowing which quarterback they'll face before heaping praise onto coach Kelly.

“You prepare for the team, not the individual,” Sanders said. “With them, you prepare more for their coach. He’s phenomenal, I’m a Chip Kelly fan. I took Shedeur to a camp there and remember having dialogue with Coach Kelly. I respect the heck out of him,” via Jake Schwanitz of DNVR Buffs.

Colorado football is looking to rebound after allowing a 29-point comeback in their loss to Stanford before their bye week. They have a tough opponent against 5-2 UCLA, who is undefeated at home this year.
