Modern blockbusters have accustomed moviegoers to sitting through the credits for a post-credits scene. But does Dune: Part Two have a post-credits scene?

MCU films love to set up their next adventures with mid and post-credits scenes. Typically, they are short and sweet but can feature bombshell cameos or huge story teases.

But not every big blockbuster has one. I don't believe The Batman (2022) had one, nor did No Time to Die. The first Dune film didn't have one, either.

Dune: Part Two is the second part of Denis Villeneuve‘s adaptation of Frank Herbert's 1965 novel. It continues Paul Atreides' (Timothée Chalamet) rise to power as he attempts to avenge his family being torn apart.

Is there any Dune: Part Two post-credits scene?

Unfortunately, no, Dune: Part 2 doesn't have a post-credits scene. While an adaptation of Messiah seems to be down the line, the film doesn't set up anything after the credits begin.

Dune: Part Two

Denis Villeneuve directed Dune in 2021. The film was released by Warner Bros during the pandemic. That meant it was a victim of the day-and-date release strategy and was released in theaters and HBO Max on October 22, 2021.

This was the third major adaptation of Frank Herbert's sci-fi classic. David Lynch previously made a film in 1984 and John Harrison made a TV series in 2000.

Timothée Chalamet leads Villeneuve's films as Paul Atreides. Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem starred in the first film. Most of those names return for the sequel. Some of the franchise newcomers include Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, and Léa Seydoux.
