HBO and NFL Films' critically acclaimed docuseries Hard Knocks started an in-season series a couple of years ago. Their latest edition will feature the charismatic Miami Dolphins and their high-powered offense, according to Adam Schefter.

Mike McDaniel's team is 5-2 to start the season and chasing NFL records on offense. Miami is averaging 462 yards per game and 34.3 points a contest with Tyreek Hill on pace to break the single-season receiving yards record. Tua Tagovailoa is also on pace to throw for 5,000 yards and characters like Jalen Ramsey and Christian Wilkins are on defense.

McDaniel himself will be something to behold behind the scenes. He's quickly become a fan favorite head coach and with each win the Dolphins get, the legend of Mike McDaniel grows. The Dolphins made the playoffs last season, their first under McDaniel, losing in the wild card round to the Buffalo Bills.

Watching the Dolphins down the stretch as they fight for a division title and potentially the No. 1 seed in the AFC will be entertaining television. Seeing the off-the-field lives of players like Hill and Tagovailoa will almost make it appointment watching for any football or sports fan.

Some remaining games for the Dolphins that will be included in Hard Knocks are the Germany game against the Kansas City Chiefs and a Christmas Eve matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. There's also a doubleheader against the New York Jets and a season finale with the Bills.

Regardless of how many more games they win this season, the Dolphins will be so fun to watch and football fans will get a new glimpse at them in a couple of weeks.
