Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had a knee brace on at the end of the team's win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football, but it is reportedly not something that would keep him out of a game, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
There is a good chance that the knee injury will not keep Jalen Hurts out of practice for the Eagles. Hurts himself said after the game that he would be fine, according to Rapoport.
It is a relief for the Eagles and their fans that Hurts will likely not miss time due to his knee injury.
The win over the Dolphins was arguably the best showing of the season for the Eagles and Hurts. They bounced back from a tough loss against the New York Jets. It was a much-needed win that keeps the pressure on other NFC contenders like the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions, who are vying for the No. 1 seed in the conference.
After this, the Eagles will go on the road to play the Washington Commanders, who just lost to the New York Giants. The Commanders and Eagles went to overtime last time they matched up, so it will be interesting to see how this matchup goes. After that, Philadelphia has tough games against likely playoff teams in the Cowboys twice, Chiefs, Bills, 49ers and Seahawks.
Hurts will be needed in this next stretch of games as the Eagles look to once gain solidify themselves as contenders for the Super Bowl this season.
