Le'Veon Bell is a free agent after getting released by the New York Jets, meaning he can sign with any team of his choice. One team he has been linked with is the Philadelphia Eagles.

However, it doesn't look like Philly is going to sign the former Pro-Bowl running back.

“Listen, I’m extremely comfortable with the guys we have,” Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday, via Mike Kaye of NJ Advance Media.

“Obviously, Le’Veon is a good player, and he’s had a lot of production in this league, but I’m excited about Miles and what he’s done.”

Miles Sanders has been one of the few bright spots for Philadelphia this season. He has carried the ball 62 times for 316 yards and three touchdowns.

In the Eagles' Week 5 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road, Sanders rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries against a tough Steelers defense.

Since quarterback Carson Wentz hasn't looked good this season, the Eagles may need to rely on Sanders more moving forward.

It's going to be interesting to see where Le'Veon Bell ends up, but Eagles fans hoping for him to sign with Philly shouldn't get their hopes up. After all, he's not going to back up Sanders since he still views himself as a superstar.

The Eagles, who are just 1-3-1 on the season, will take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6 in a must-win game for Philly.
