Apple TV+'s The Morning Show is adding Academy Award-winner Marion Cotillard to its fourth season, Variety reported.
Cotillard will appear in the new season with stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, as well as Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Jon Hamm and Nicole Beharie.
The actress is set to star as Celine Dumont, described as someone who is a “savvy operator from a storied European family.”

The Morning Show is one of the few non-movie roles Cotillard has accepted in her career. In 2008, she earned her best actress Oscar for playing legendary singer Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose. In 2015, she was nominated in the same category for Two Days, One Night.
A few of her notable acting credits include 2022's drama Brother and Sister (Frère et soeur), 2016's romantic drama From the Land of the Moon (Mal de pierres), 2015's Macbeth, 2011's Midnight in Paris, a reunion with Christopher Nolan in his 2012 Batman film The Dark Knight Rises and 2010's Inception.

The Morning Show premiered in 2019 and was inspired by Brian Stelter's 2013 book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV. The series follows the story of how the characters navigate the culture of a network broadcasting morning news program. Billy Crudup won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2020 for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series.
After the show's male co-anchor (Steve Carrell) is accused of sexual misconduct, he's forced off the show. An intrepid young reporter (Witherspoon) is then hired to replace him, making The Morning Show anchored by a relative newbie and a veteran host (Aniston.
The show began with depicting the #MeToo movement, examining it from different perspectives as more information comes to light regarding the allegations against the male c0-host. The succeeding season focused on other political topics and current events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, racial inequality, the Jan. 6 insurrection as well as Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The Morning Show's third season will premiere Sept. 13. It was renewed for a fourth ahead of the season three premiere.
