It's officially time to relax. With a hard workweek ending, it's time to find out what's new to Hulu this weekend (August 13-15) so you can properly enjoy some fine streaming content.
Before we get going, it's certainly worth noting that this is according to the streaming service itself. If — for some magical reason — it decides to drop a random blockbuster and we don't have it here, we're sorry in advance.
New To Hulu this Weekend – Hulu August 13-15
Releasing August 13
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 8 Premiere (NBC): An absolutely brilliant comedy that still somehow –through only magic one can guess — is going under-the-radar. There's not a character on this show who isn't hilarious in their own right. Couple that with being able to binge this show, it's a must of the stuff new to Hulu this weekend.
Releasing August 14
Article Continues BelowMan, here we go again. Like other giant platforms, Saturday is being ignored by the streaming giant. Given how light the Hulu-August relationship in terms of releases were to start, deciding to drop stuff on random weekdays remains the absolute worst. Also, bring back Castle Rock, you cowards. You have very few “good” originals. You're lucky you are part of the Disney+ bundle!
Releasing August 15
Silo (2019): While it's a 2019 filming, this alleged Mystery-Thriller did not receive it's international release until May of this year. According to it's summary, Silo is: Inspired by true events, SILO follows a harrowing day in an American farm town. Disaster strikes when teenager Cody Rose is entrapped in a 50-foot-tall grain bin. When the corn turns to quicksand, family, neighbors and first responders must put aside their differences to rescue Cody from drowning in the crop that has sustained their community for generations.
The Hate U Give (2018): Not my cup of tea, but maybe yours!
Nonetheless, that's what's new on Hulu this weekend (Hulu August 13-15).
