Recently, Jennifer Lopez has been getting bad-mouthed for several setbacks, including her rumored divorce from Ben Affleck, canceling her tour, and the star's mocked documentary. With it all, it seems like many past comments have surfaced of her badmouthing them.

And some celebrities aren't too thrilled with her.

For example, Lopez made the news when Meghan McCain criticized the singer for her appearance in The View. TMZ reported that McCain said, “J.Lo is in her flop era,” on her Citizen McCain podcast. McCain added that “J.Lo coming on The View was not my favorite by a lot,” and she was “unpleasant.”

So, that got us thinking: What have other celebrities said about the performer?

Here's a look at a few famous folks who had thoughts on the Let's Get Loud singer.

Rihanna called her “desperate”

When J.Lo started dating Drake, Rihanna wasn't too thrilled. According to In Touch, an insider told the publication that J Lo is “desperate.”

The insider added, “Rihanna and Jennifer used to be good friends. She's even confided in J.Lo about her rocky relationship with Drake over the years. Rihanna is very hurt.”

Mariah Carey calls her someone she doesn't know

It's no secret that Mariah Carey and Lopez have not been friends for a long time. Metro described how one of her song samples was used for J-Lo, and the All I Want for Christmas singer doesn't call her by name. In her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, she said, “After hearing my new song, using the same sample I used, Sony rushed to make a single for another female entertainer on their label (whom I don't know).”

The whole “I don't know you” statement was explained in W Magazine. “I really was trying to say something nice or say nothing at all,” she said. “I really was.”

Nicki Minaj tells J.Lo to “scoot over”

Back in 2012, J.Lo judged American Idol, and Minaj performed on the show. After the set, the rap star said, “I was hoping maybe I could come back and be a guest judge. J.Lo, can you scoot over a bit?”

Lopez replied, “I don't know if there's enough room for both of us.”

Backstage, Minaj said, “She didn't seem to be having it but she gonna have it. We were just joking around.”

Whatever the situation, it seemed to escalate years later. In 2015, Lopez opened the American Music Awards with a medley that included a part from Minaj's Anaconda. During the performance, Nicki shot a look at the camera that spoke volumes of what she thought of her.

Rosie Perez called her a “biatch”

Perez detailed her experience working with Lopez in her memory, Handbook for an Unpredictable Life, where she recounted their time on In Living Color.

“All of the girls were coming into my office complaining how she was manipulating wardrobe, makeup, and me, all to her advantage,” she wrote. Also, she accused her of acting like “some ghetto biatch, screaming and pounding her chest!”

Perez also wrote that she made “disparaging comments” about her, then she would act friendly. “She came over to me, smiling, saying hello as if nothing happened. I should've let it go and played it off, too. Instead, I killed her with my biting tongue.”

Many of these comments about the performer may be because J.Lo has been the one who hasn't been too kind to other celebrities.

What J.Lo has said about other celebrities

InStyle reported about a 1998 interview that surfaced due to her making a few bonkers comments.

On Selma Hayek, Lopez said, “We're in two different realms. She's a sexy bombshell and those are the kinds of roles she does. I do all kinds of different things. It makes me laugh when she says she got offered Selena, which was an outright lie. If that's what she does to get herself publicity, then that's her thing. Columbia offered me the choice of Fools Rush In or Anaconda, but I chose the fun B-movie because the Fools scripts wasn't strong enough.”

With Gwyneth Paltrow, she asked, “Tell me what she's been in? I swear to God, I don't remember anything she was in. Some people get hot by association. I heard more about her and Brad Pitt than I ever heard about her work.”

Additionally, she called Cameron Diaz “a lucky model who's been given a lot of opportunities. I just wish she had done more with her.”

She even had some things to say about Madonna. J.Lo exclaimed, “Do I think she's a great performer? Yeah. Do I think she's a great actress? No. Acting is what I do, so I'm harder on people when they say, ‘Oh, I can do that — I can act.' I'm like, ‘Hey, don't spit on my craft.'”

Whatever one thinks of Jennifer Lopez, she's not the first one to have feuds or nasty comments from other celebrities. It happens all the time in music and entertainment. For J.Lo, it just seems like the past comments, and more are surfacing with all that she has going on.

But, indeed, she can handle it. After all, she is Jenny from the Block.
