Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk gave his prediction for the upcoming welterweight title clash between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford.

All eyes in the boxing world will be on Saturday night in Las Vegas when Spence and Crawford finally collide to not only crown a unified and undisputed welterweight champion, but also determine the best 147-pounder of this generation.

It's a toss-up for most and that's a credit to the fighters — both of whom still remain undefeated for now — and how elite they've been for a number of years.

That said, there are some who have a winner in the fight and as far as Usyk is concerned, he believes Crawford will end up emerging victorious.

“It’s a great fight,” Usyk told FightHype (via Boxing Scene). “I like Terence. He’s a great boxer. I think Terence wins. That’s my opinion.”

Part of the reason Usyk seemingly has confidence in Terence Crawford is their similar styles, particularly when it comes to regularly stance switching.

The Ukrainian made note of this when discussing the WBO welterweight champion's fighting style.

“There are some similar things when Terence switches his stance, but it’s normal,” Usyk explained. “All fighters from all over the world, watch each other’s fights and absorb some positive things.

“Then when you watch someone doing something extraordinary for you, you try it in training, and if you succeed, you feel like, ‘Wow, that’s great. I can use it in my fights as well.'”

Usyk, meanwhile, has his own title fight as he defends his heavyweight titles against WBA mandatory Daniel Dubois next month in Poland.
