Wuthering Waves' release date is coming soon and with it a whole lot of rewards. In this guide, we will go over all of the free rewards players will get at the launch of Wuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves – All Free Launch Rewards
As with most newly launched games, Wuthering Waves will be rewarding its players with various rewards to help them out as they start their journey. These rewards vary, from in-game gacha currency to Credits used for upgrades, and more.
These rewards are the result of various online campaigns, such as the Pre-Registration Milestones, as well as the Social Media Follower Milestones. Thanks to the players' hard work, everyone will be able to enjoy these rewards.
Wuthering Waves Pre-Registration Milestones
Before the game's release, players were able to pre-register for the game's launch. As the name implies, there were milestones for players to meet, with the last reward locked behind 30 Million pre-registrations. Thankfully, we were able to meet all of the milestones, so we will be receiving the following rewards:
- Lustrous Tide x20
- Astrite x200
- Sigil: En Route
- Advanced Resonance Potion x10
- Shell Credit x80,000
For those not familiar, Lustrous Tides are used to draw from the Novice, Permanent Character, and Permanent Weapon Banners, or as the game calls them, Convenes. This means players will immediately get 20 draws in total. Additionally, Astrites can be converted into various Tides (160 Astrites per Tide).
Sigils are the player's name cards, giving players the ability to personalize their name cards. Advanced Resonance Potions are used to level up Resonators, and Shell Credits are the Universal Currency in the game.
All of these rewards are available for free, and can be claimed from the player's in-game mailbox starting on May 23, 2024, at 7:00 PM PDT.
Social Media Follower Milestones
As a reward for all of the Wuthering Waves social media pages reaching a total of 5 million followers, players will also be able to get a Weapon Box that contains a 4-Star Rangers' Series Weapon. Players can choose what weapon they want to select from the box.
Here are the player's options for the Weapon Box (Rank 1 effects shown):
- Dauntless Evernight (Broadsword)
- When HP is above 80%, ATK is increased by 8%. When HP is below 15%, hitting enemies with Basic Attacks and Heavy Attacks restores 15 HP. This effect can be triggered once every 8 seconds.
- Substat – DEF
- Commando of Conviction (Sword)
- When HP is below 15%, DMG is increased by 15 for Heavy Attacks. Hitting enemies with Heavy Attacks restore {2} HP for the current character. The healing effect can be triggered once every 8 seconds.
- Substat – ATK
- Undying Flame (Pistol)
- ATK is increased by 20% every 5 seconds while the Character does not receive DMG, stack up to 2 times, lasting for 8 seconds. Taking damage removes 1 stack and restore 15 HP to the Character.
- Substat – ATK
- Amity Accord (Gauntlet)
- ATK is increased by 20% and Parry DMG is increased by 15 for 8s when Dodging or Dashing. Restore {2} HP when hitting enemies with Parry. Can be triggered once every 6 seconds.
- Substat – DEF
- Jinzhou Keeper (Rectifier)
- When casting Intro Skill, your own attack increases by 8%, HP increases by 15%, lasting 15 seconds.
- Substat – ATK
Players can choose to hold on to this weapon box first before claiming whatever weapon they might need.
Gifts From The Wuthering Waves Dev Team
Players will also be able to get the following rewards, straight from the developers of Wuthering Waves:
- Lustrous Tide x10
- Players can claim this starting May 23, 2024, at 7:00 PM PDT
- Radiant Tide x10
- Players can claim this starting May 24, 2024, at 7:00 PM PDT
These rewards will help players get more rolls for their game, helping them clear out the Novice Convene and get the guaranteed 5-Star character in the Beginner's Choice Convene. The Radiant Tide, on the other hand, can be held onto until the player finds a limited character that they want.
Gifts of Thawing Frost
Once the game's launch, players will be presented with a 7-day login event, which will reward them with various items, including a 4-star Resonator. Here are the rewards players will receive for each day of the login event:
- Day 1: Lustrous Tide x1
- Day 2: Lustrous Tide x1
- Day 3: Lustrous Tide x1
- Day 4: Lustrous Tide x1
- Day 5: 4-Star Resonator – Sanhua
- Day 6: Radiant Tide x2
- Day 7: Radiant Tide x2
In total, players will receive Lustrous Tide x4, Radiant Tide x4, and the 4-Star Resonator Sanhua. Sanhua is an especially good reward, as this will give free-to-play players a unit to build and play with.
Awakening Journey
Players will also receive various rewards as they increase their Union Level, with the final reward arriving once players reach Union Level 45. Here are the rewards that players can get with each milestone:
- Union Level 5
- Lustrous Tide x5
- Astrite x200
- Union Level 15
- Lustrous Tide x5
- Astrite x400
- Union Level 25
- Lustrous Tide x15
- Crystal Solvent 2x
- Union Level 35
- Lustrous Tide x15
- Crystal Solvent 4x
- Union Level 45
- 5-Star Winter Brume Weapon Box
- Astrite x1000
Similar to the Rangers' Series Weapon Box from the Social Media Follower Milestones, players will also be able to get a free 5-Star Winter Brume Weapon of their choice (Rank 1 effects shown):
- Lustrous Razor (Broadsword)
- Energy Regen is increased by 12.8%. When Resonance Skill hits a target, Resonance Liberation Damage is increased by 8%. This effect can stack up to 2 time(s) and last for 12s.
- Substat – ATK
- Emerald of Genesis (Sword)
- Energy Regen is increased by 12.8%. When Resonance Skill hits a target, ATK is increased by 6%. This effect can stack up to 2 time(s) and last for 10s.
- Substat – Crit Rate
- Static Mist (Pistol)
- Energy Regen is increased by 12.8%. After performing Outro Skill, ATK for party members is increased by 10%. This effect can stack up to 1 time(s) and last for 14s.
- Substat – Crit Rate
- Abyss Surges (Gauntlet)
- Energy Regen is increased by 12.8%. When Resonance Skill hits a target, Basic Attack Damage is increased by 10%. When Basic Attack hits a target, Resonance Skill Damage is increased by 10% and last for 8s.
- Substat – ATK
- Cosmic Ripples (Rectifier)
- Energy Regen is increased by 12.8%. When Basic Attack hits a target, Basic Attack Damage is increased by 3.2%. This effect can stack up to 5 time(s) and last for 8s.
- Substat – ATK
Players can choose to hold on to this weapon box first before claiming whatever weapon they might need.
Other Free Rewards
Once players reach Union Level 30, they will also receive Lustrous Jade x10 thanks to the Free Upgrade Bundle. Finally, players will receive the 4-star Resonator Yuanwu. To claim him, players must complete the Tower of Adversity's Stable Zone Challenge.
