According to Laura Taylor, a jeweler at Lorel Diamonds, Hailey's pregnancy could be causing her fingers to swell, necessitating a move to a more comfortable fit.
“Hailey’s pregnancy will be causing her fingers to swell, which means that her original engagement ring will be feeling tight on her finger. As a temporary measure, she has switched it to her pinky finger on the opposite hand, where it will fit better for the last few months of her pregnancy,” Taylor explains.
The new ring, with its elongated oval-cut diamond, is considerably larger and boasts exceptional clarity and rarity. Taylor estimates its worth to be around $1 million, while U.K.-based diamond retailer Steven Stone and Rare Carat CEO Ajay Anand both appraise it at $1.5 million, describing it as Hailey’s “most impressive yet.”

The Biebers, who tied the knot in 2018, shared the news of their first child in a joint Instagram post on May 9. The announcement came with photos from their vow renewal ceremony, where Hailey Bieber proudly displayed her baby bump in a lacy off-the-shoulder bridal dress from Saint Laurent.
An insider revealed to Life & Style that Justin Bieber, deeply in love with his wife, had picked out the extravagant ring as a “push present” for Hailey. “He loves Hailey so much. Justin’s spending $700,000 on a huge, high-quality Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring for her. She doesn’t know about it yet!” the source disclosed.
