The Charlotte Hornets won the trade deadline even with all the big moves that were made. Snagging Montrezl Harrell is the offensive-minded big man that this team needed. He is the enforcer that a young team like the Hornets will most certainly benefit from. His energy will be infectious to the rest of his young teammates. Just think about the transition game with LaMelo Ball clearing a rebound and having Harrell streaking down the court with the likes of Miles Bridges or Terry Rozier.

Speaking of those three guys, all of them excited for the former Sixth Man of the Year award winner to join the squad.

Just check out these tweets after the trade went down:

Both Ball and Bridges are franchise cornerstones for this team. They are looked at as young leaders to help turn this franchise around for the better. It's a great sign that they are excited to get Harrell on board. Those three will likely see the floor a lot together, especially in crunch time. Having Harrell will allow the Hornets' small ball lineup to feature Harrell at the center position and PJ Washington at the four. They can stretch the floor even more now and they have a guy who can get his own basket on the inside.

However, no one may be anymore excited than Rozier, who gets to be reunited with Harrell after the two played together back at Louisville.

Those two shared the floor together for two years in 2014-15. They are both thrilled to reunite in the NBA for the Hornets. Charlotte is currently on a six-game losing streak and Harrell can possibly suit up as soon as Friday night against the Detroit Pistons. His impact should be felt right away whether he comes off the bench or starts. Should be a fun rest of the year for the Hornets as they try to claw back to the sixth spot on the Eastern Conference.
