LiAngelo Ball is getting another chance to make the Charlotte Hornets this summer as he aims to team up with his All-Star brother, LaMelo Ball.

Per The Athletic, the organization has included LiAngelo on their Summer League roster:

This will be the second year in a row Ball will suit up for the Hornets in Las Vegas but he didn't manage to make the NBA team in 2021. The brother of Lonzo and LaMelo, LiAngelo hasn't exactly enjoyed the same success at the highest level, struggling to break through and actually make the cut for an NBA roster.

After playing for the Hornets' Summer League squad a year ago, he ultimately declared for the G-League Draft and was selected by the Greensboro Swarm, Charlotte's affiliate. His numbers weren't great, though. In 28 games, LiAngelo averaged 4.6 points and 1.1 rebounds while shooting 39% from the floor in only 13.2 minutes per night.

The Hornets could potentially use another role player if they do cut ties with Miles Bridges, who was just charged with domestic violence after beating his wife. It's hard to imagine he'll be back with Charlotte.

Joining LiAngelo Ball on the Summer League team is Kai Jones, Mark Williams, and Brady Manek, among others. It'll be interesting to see how Ball does. Their first game is on July 8th.
