The Tiger King series on Netflix has caused a stir on social media and Gardner Minshew of the Jacksonville Jaguars didn't waste any time putting his stamp on it. On his personal Instagram, Minshew created a parody version of Tiger King. Naturally, it's called Jaguar King.

At the beginning of the 2019 season, Minshew was just a regular sixth-round pick and backup quarterback. However, once Nick Foles got injured in Week 1, Minshew caught the eye of the entire league with his play on the field.

Not to mention, the Washington State product sported a mustache that isn't rivaled by many people. For a team that was in need of a spark on and off the field, the Jaguars lucked out in getting Minshew. Not many teams envisioned Minshew being able to produce the way he did in his first season.

The charismatic signal-caller finished his rookie season with 3,271 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions. Going back to his college days, Minshew has been an exuberant character and he isn't afraid to be himself.

From wearing cut-off jean shorts to traveling the United States in an RV, Minshew doesn't seem like he'd fit in as a quarterback in the NFL. But when he stepped foot on the field, he showed that he's more than just a guy behind a mustache.

With the Jaguars trading Foles, they are moving forward with Minshew as their franchise quarterback. There's no doubt that fans are going to try and make sure the nickname “Jaguar King” sticks this offseason. If Minshew can lead Jacksonville to some wins in 2020, fans will crown him as the quarterback of their future.
