The Jacksonville Jaguars have a pair of former Clemson stars, both of whom were selected in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne are set to explode for the Jaguars and new head coach Urban Meyer, in this season and beyond.

Unfortunately, the Jaguars are holding their collective breath on Monday night against the New Orleans Saints. According to Field Yates of ESPN, Etienne is questionable to return after leaving with an injury.

Etienne was seen with a noticeable limp, and that could be a cause for concern with the regular season approaching.

While the Jaguars and Meyer have been lenient with Etienne in the preseason, it might not mean anything once the season kicks off. His snap counts, compared to the other backs, have been conspicuously low.

The Jaguars are set to run a two-man rotation of James Robinson and Etienne, with Etienne likely getting a lot of reps as a wide receiver due to his dynamic playmaking abilities. But, there could be an unfortunate update that would force them to sit him for some time, and hopefully that isn't the case.

Stay tuned for more updates regarding the Jaguars' other rookie, who played college ball with starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
