Wilson has been on the headlines as of late after his ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile accused him of sleeping with his mom’s best friend. This came after Gile was called a “home hopper” amid rumors she’s now in a relationship with Wilson’s ex-best friend and BYU roommate Dax Milne.

In a hilarious twist, when Zach’s mom Lisa Wilson went to Instagram to promote some jewelry and accessories she got, she also introduced a friend. However, before people even start to ask or suspect if she was the best friend that folks are looking for, Lisa quickly shot down those thoughts.

The mother of the Jets rising star also seemed to deny the allegations thrown at her son, noting that she has “good friends.”

For what it’s worth, Zach Wilson is not making a big deal of the rumor and is just letting it run its course. After the allegation, he posted on Instagram and showed he is taking the talks in stride, jokingly asking what he missed after he didn’t get the news due to poor cell service in Idaho.

Unfortunately for Wilson, it’s unlikely that people will forget the rumor any time soon. Whether it’s true or not, it will certainly be a subject of jokes online for a long time.
