New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson found himself in the middle of a shocking rumor on Sunday after his ex-girlfriend accused him of sleeping with his mom's best friend.
Abbey Gile, who has reportedly broken up with the Jets rising star since January, has been accused of being a “homie hopper” after it was claimed she's in a relationship now with Wilson's former best friend and BYU roommate Dax Milne.
In response, Gile claimed that Wilson is the real “homie hopper” for having a relationship with his mom's friend, per Outkick.
After hearing the shocking accusation, NFL fans couldn't help but react and laugh at the sudden drama.

Wilson seems to be moving on just fine after breaking up with Gile, as he was recently spotted going out with social media influencer Nicolette Dellanno. The two were spotted watching a New York Yankees game together last month.
While it is unlikely that Wilson will address the accusation that his ex-girlfriend made sooner or later, fans can still hope that he speaks about it and set things straight. After all, it could be the center of jokes when the 2022 season starts. Not to mention that being silent could only make things worse for him.
Regardless, though, the internet is certainly having a field day with the latest drama involving the Jets youngster.
