A handful of the Orlando Magic's key players are finding themselves in trade rumors as of late. All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic along with veterans Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross are reportedly garnering interest from many teams ahead of the trade deadline.

Via Kevin O' Connor of The Ringer:

“The Heat, Spurs, Celtics, and Hornets have all expressed significant interest in acquiring All-Star center Nikola Vucevic, league sources say.”

“The Magic are also receiving calls on two veterans in the backcourt, Terrence Ross and Evan Fournier. League sources say the Hornets are among teams to express interest in Fournier, while the Nuggets have inquired about Ross. Orlando will have options. “

Vucevic is currently averaging 24.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists through 36 games played this season. His impressive showing in the first half of the 2020-21 season successfully earned him the second All-Star nod of his career.

It didn't come as a surprise that many playoff teams are interested in his services due to his rebounding skills and smooth shooting touch, as he is currently averaging 41.2% from beyond the arc.

Meanwhile, Fournier has been sidelined over the past week due to a groin strain. However, he remains to be a valuable contributor for the Magic when healthy as he is currently recording norms of 18.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 21 appearances.

On the other hand, Ross is serving as the Magic's spark plug off the bench with tallies of 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists through 35 games played. He will definitely be a welcome addition, especially to playoff teams in the league who already have a solid starting lineup. However, despite seeing heavy usage and production from all three players, the Magic are still struggling with a 13-23 record to nab the 14th spot in the Eastern Conference.

It remains to be seen if the Magic will pull the trigger and completely disband the core of their team. However, it can't be denied that the services of these players would be put to better use if only they are given a chance to be in a more competitive team.
