The 2022 Masters have been dominated by Tiger Woods headlines, and rightfully so. One of golf's greatest players of all-time, Woods is playing in his first high-level tournament since his car crash last year. However, Woods has struggled so far in Day 2. He has totaled three bogeys and is currently sitting at 3-over for the tournament as of this story's publication. But he is hanging around and still has a chance to make some noise moving forward.
Beyond Tiger, some other players are doing displaying impressive performances. Charl Schwartzel, Danny Willet, and Sunjae Im currently lead the pack. The trio are all sitting at -3 for the tournament, and Schwartzel is 3-under for the day. You can find updated Masters leaders here.
The highlight of Friday belongs to Bubba Watson. Watson is known for not shying away from taking chances on a golf course, and he put that narrative in full effect on Friday.

Watson was stuck in the trees and it looked as if he might need to just chip out. However, Watson played his version of āBubba Golfā and took a chance. The left-hander lined his shot up and somehow got the ball to go through the trees. But the most amazing part is where the ball ended up. Had it just landed on the green, that would have been extremely impressive. But Watson landed the ball about five feet from the hole.
The Masters has certainly not disappointed. Between difficult windy conditions, highlight reel shots, and Tiger Woods's return, it is going to be one heck of a weekend in Augusta.
