Tiger Woods had an up and down second day at the 2022 Masters, but he managed to just make the cut heading into the weekend. Following his performance where he finished 2 over 74, Tiger spoke out about how his body felt after another long day at Augusta.

Via Jacob Thompson:

Not surprising, to say the least. You'd have to imagine Tiger is definitely feeling some soreness at The Masters. Woods shot a 71 in his opening 18 on Thursday, but Friday was a different story. He bogeyed four of the first five holes, but quickly turned it around, playing the last 13 holes at two under par. As of right now, he sits in 19th spot at The Masters and just nine shots behind leader Scott Scheffler.

Woods grinded it out with numerous big putts and clutch shots, making the cut for the 22nd straight time. That's second all-time behind legends Gary Player and Fred Couples. Tiger is well in the mix for the Masters still, which is impressive in itself. The fact that he's playing at all is a miracle after his horrific accident just over a year ago.

No matter the outcome at the end of the weekend, Tiger Woods has already pulled off the unthinkable and defied all the odds. You have to love it.
