An MMA event in Florida this weekend plummeted into absolute chaos after a brawl broke out and gunshots were fired at the venue.

The crazy incident occurred during the RIZE Fighting Championship on March 20th at the Bamboo Room in Lake Worth Beach. The main event featured a bantamweight title fight between Alexis Fernandez and Filipe Valentim. Apparently, there were some unsanctioned brawls happening within the audience, as well, as people began throwing fists and even furniture at each other.
It isn’t clear how the whole mess began. Everything turned for the worse when a man wearing a maroon shirt pulled out a gun from a bag and fired a bullet in the air, sending the crowd further into a frenzy. In the footage captured, we can only hear one shot. However, the police revealed they heard two shots fired.
As TMZ reported, there were multiple people injured as a result of the MMA brawl. Fortunately, nobody was hit by the bullet that the crazy man fired into the amidst the chaotic scene.
The police reportedly did not make arrests at the scene, as the incident is still undergoing further investigation. Furthermore, officials still have no identity on the crazy gunman.
It’s definitely fortunate that there were no reported fatalities during the event. As bad as the scene already looked, it certainly could have gone much worse.
Honestly, the first thing that popped into my mind is why is there such an event in the first place? Is Miss Rona suddenly gone?
