Stephen Curry has much more important things to be concerned with than his incredible free-throw shooting during the postseason. The Golden State Warriors, after all, trail the Toronto Raptors 0-1 in the NBA Finals, with another game to come at Scotiabank Arena before the championship series shifts to Oakland – and Kevin Durant's status remains in doubt even after Game 2.
Just in case he felt compelled to care where his proficiency at the free throw line in the playoffs ranks all-time, though, Curry would certainly like what he sees. Curry's current mark of 94.7 shooting at the line would rank first in NBA history among qualified players, just ahead that of Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki during his iconic 2011 postseason run, per NBC Sports' Tom Haberstroh.
Stephen Curry is currently shooting 94.7% from the free throw line in these playoffs, which would beat Dirk Nowitzki's all-time post-season record of 94.1%.@tomhaberstroh wrote about his free throw technique and routine:https://t.co/luY0Cx7AcK

Stephen Curry is a remarkable 108-of-114 from the free throw line in the 2019 playoffs. Once he takes another free throw, he'll pass his career-high for attempts in a single postseason. Curry broke his personal playoff-best for makes in Game 1 of the Finals, when he went 14-of-14 at the line courtesy of aggressive Raptors defense and a number of foul calls on the perimeter.
Nowitzki, meanwhile, went 175-of-186 en route to the 2011 championship. Known as a shooter first and foremost, his sky-high number of makes and attempts reminds of just how effective the future Hall of Famer used to be off the dribble. He averaged 8.9 free throws attempts per game during the 2011 playoffs, and eclipsed 10 free throws per game on three occasions.
Curry, obviously, couldn't care less about whether or not he bests Nowitzki's mark by the end of the Finals. The betting market, though, might want to hop on this one.
