The Philadelphia Eagles took down Tom Brady and the New England Patriots 41-33 on Sunday to win their first-ever Super Bowl. As such, the NBA’s best players took to Twitter to congratulate the Eagles and share their reactions.
The NBA’s own Philadelphia 76ers are celebrating just as much and their star center Joel Embiid made sure that he was able to congratulate their NFL compatriots.

LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, someone who could play in the NFL if he wanted to, expressed his excitement and related to the Eagles’ first Super Bowl franchise win.

In 2016, James delivered on his promise to bring a title to the city of Cleveland. It was the franchise’s first championship since joining the NBA in 1970.

In fact, this game was all the more a momentous one as both Eagles and Patriots combined for a record yardage in Super Bowl history, making the euphoria and hype felt across many sports leagues. The whole of America stopped for this one, and it did not disappoint.
