The Los Angeles Angels stopped by the Golden State Warriors practice on Tuesday while in town to play the Oakland Athletics and achieved a feet probably few ever have. Angels reliever Joe Smith took on reigning NBA MVP and Steph Curry in a game of PIG, and won.

Smith was able to put Steph away with a couple unusual shots including a left-handed 3-pointer and a blind, backward, over-the-head free throw.

”Well, you don't go into something expecting you're going to lose, that ain't how you become a professional athlete,” Smith said.
“I just got lucky, I was in front of him and there were four guys. All of his tough shots, everybody else missed. We knew somebody had to beat him. We couldn't walk out of here without a win, you know? That's not making ESPN.”

We're not sure whether or not Steph was really trying. He looks pretty disappointed in the video. Either way, Joe Smith can say he beat the NBA record holder for most 3-pointers in a season in a game centered around shooting a basketball.
