Kevin Durant‘s cold-blooded three-point wing jumper gave the Golden State Warriors their first lead of the fourth quarter and a consequent win in shocking fashion, upsetting the Cleveland Cavaliers with an 11-0 run to close Game 3 at Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday night.

The shot wasn't the first of its kind in Durant's career, but most likely Warriors fans will engrave in their memory and what most will consider the biggest in his 10 years in the NBA.

“I've been working on that shot my whole life,” he told reporters in the post-game press conference, per Bruce Arthur of the Toronto Star.

With less than a minute on the clock, Durant grabbed a defensive rebound and dribbled up the length of the court, making the most of LeBron James‘ late transition defense and pulling up on a dime for the mildly contested jumper.

The bucket not only put the Warriors up 114-113, but silenced a rowdy Cleveland crowd. Durant's three-pointer would ultimately be sealed with four more free throws at the end of the game, giving the team a 118-113 win at the end of regulation.

Having worked on that jump shot throughout his career, Durant chose the right time to start to etch the beginning of his legacy in stone — and what a better way to do it than contested by one of the game's best players.
