Basketball players have been known to be one of the most superstitious athletes in the world. From how they wear their socks, shooting routines and choosing their jersey numbers, it all has a special meaning to them. On Sunday night following a Game 1 win against the San Antonio Spurs, Kevin Durant showed everyone that he even has a superstition on which side he sits when on the podium.
Upon arriving in the press conference room, the Golden State Warriors star forward immediately sat down and forgot his superstition. He was quickly reminded by his teammate, Stephen Curry, about it before the two had a seat change in time for the first question from the reporters present.

While there's nothing wrong about being superstitious, it's still remarkable to see an athlete with the stature as big as Durant's, following it regardless of where and what the situation is.
With the success the Warriors have had since his decision to bring his talents to the Bay Area, it will be hard to question his superstitions as it may be bringing them a lot of luck. One thing that's certain is their fans will not mind him continuing them as long as they win, remain healthy and ready to compete for a championship.
