Since his shortcomings in last year's NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Stephen Curry has dealt with the chatter of his inability to play on the big stage with the championship on the line.
However, Curry is off to a tremendous start through the first two games of the 2017 NBA Finals that have him blowing away his performances over the last two years on this stage.

The reigning two-time league MVP has been a huge offensive factor averaging 30.0 points, 10.5 assists, and 8.0 rebounds per game. This includes his first career postseason triple-double with 32 points, 10 rebounds and a playoff-best 11 assists in Game 2.
Article Continues BelowIt was also just the second triple-double by a Warriors player in team history joining Draymond Green, who posted that mark in Game 6 of last year's NBA Finals. He also finished a perfect 14-of-14 from the free-throw line in the contest tying him with Hall of Famer Magic Johnson for second-most attempts made without a miss in an NBA Finals game in league history.
It's a far cry from his struggles a year ago where he averaged 22.6 points on 40.3 percent shooting from the field while committing 30 turnovers over the series. He has also shot fewer than 40 percent from the field on three occasions and had four or more turnovers in all but one game.
Curry has been a huge beneficiary from the presence of Kevin Durant on the floor along with having a clean bill of health. Durant is playing at a high level averaging 35.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game.
He is also coming off a Game 2 performance where he recorded 33 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, a playoff career-high-tying five blocks and three steals, making him the first player ever to notch those numbers in any postseason game.
With Curry and the Warriors hitting offensive stride, it's hard to envision them not continue their dominant run to another NBA title over the Cavaliers.
