Klay Thompson caught fire in the second quarter of the Golden State Warriors game against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.

The sharpshooter was white-hot, draining an array of jumpers from every area on the court. Riding his hot-shooting hand, Thompson caught the ball in the corner and took a turnaround three-pointer with Monta Ellis draped all over him. Once the shot went through the net, the team went berserk on the bench, causing point guard Stephen Curry to lose his mind and run into the tunnel in sheer disbelief.

This is hardly the first time Thompson has had a quarter like this, as he had the all-time single-quarter scoring output when he scored 37 points in the third quarter against the Sacramento Kings, back in Jan. 23, 2015.

The 6-foot-7 shooting guard had a layup galore in the first quarter and showed his range in the second quarter, totaling 40 points in the first half on 15-of-22 from the field, 5-of-9 from deep and a perfect 5-of-5 from the line.

Basketball can sure be a lot of fun when they shots are dropping. The Warriors are shooting with mind-blowing efficiency, hitting 59.6 percent of their field goals and combining for 25 assists with only two turnover in the first half.
