Stephen Curry isn't getting ahead of himself prior to Sunday's Game 2 of the NBA Finals despite a convincing 22-point win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.

During his pre-game press conference, Curry explained what the team needs to do in order to take a 2-0 lead in the series come Sunday.

“If we can kind of carbon-copy what we did in Game 1,” Curry explained. “Maybe finish better in the paint when we had opportunities.”

“To finish possessions at the offensive end and doing a great job of rebounding the basketball and turning those misses into transition opportunities for us, then we should be in pretty good shape.”

The back-to-back MVP has very much taken a one-game-at-a-time approach to this series, knowing full well what his Eastern Conference opponents are capable of.

“Every game is different. That's the beauty of The Finals,” he said. “It doesn't matter what happened in Game 1, it's a whole other experience to be ready for.”

Both the Warriors and Cavaliers shot relatively poorly from the floor, shooting 43 and 34 percent respectively.

It will be a completely different game if these teams can shoot the three as well as they could and if they happen to find some spark off the bench to fuel their offensive firepower.
