The Golden  State Warriors‘ addition of Kevin Durant is obviously a major reason for their success this year, but Stephen Curry continues to be the team's leader and he has stepped up big time in the ongoing NBA Finals.

That's almost a 36-point difference, which screams of Curry's importance in this series for Golden State.

This is something that their coaching staff may be aware of as the 29-year-old Davidson product has been playing more in the Finals compared to the first three rounds of the playoffs. It is also worth noting that his 36.8 minutes in the Finals is five more than the average playing time he received during the regular season.

With the Warriors on the brink of bringing the title back to Oakland, it can be expected that Curry will once again see extended court action as they attempt to wrap the series on Monday in Game 5. The Cleveland Cavaliers will be hard pressed to find a way to win another game, especially playing on the road.
